The Johnny Appleseed Festival – A Lisbon Tradition

Celebrating the life and legacy of Johnny Appleseed is a 57 year tradition for our little town of Lisbon, Ohio. Not only is it a fun way to honor one of history’s heroes, but it also benefits our local, small-town businesses by bringing in swarms of people looking for a good time and great food!

Starting with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20 and ending with the crowning of the JAF queen, raffle drawings, and art show winners at 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, the Lisbon, OH Johnny Appleseed Festival offers a full schedule of fun activities and experiences.

Some highlights of the weekend include the Johnny Appleseed Festival grand parade, the classic car show, apple pie contest, JAF duck race, and lots of fun vendors, concession stands, and yummy, apple themed foods! We are excited to celebrate the festivities with 2 new featured drinks – a classic Hot Apple Cider and a delightful Frozen Apple Pie Chai!

Stop in town, take in the festivities, and pick up your favorite Nourish Coffee + Kitchen dishes and drinks or try a fun new apple beverage. Although the kitchen will be closing at normal time, we will be serving drinks + baked goods until 6 p.m. Saturday evening. Stop in and see us – we look forward to serving you!
