What are Microgreens?

When it comes to serving nutritious and delicious dishes, you know we pride ourselves in offering some of the best! And as we all know, amazing dishes start with amazing ingredients.
One of the ingredients we love to use in several of our menu items is microgreens. Early on we discovered a small, local ‘direct to community’ farm called Wholly Organic Microgreens that offers nutrient-dense microgreens.
So what are Microgreens?
Microgreens are the earliest stage of a vegetable plant’s development, after the sprouting stage. They are “living foods” – Purposefully utilized in their most nutritious and delicious state.
They have been proven by research to have countless potential health benefits including:
